    Description

The brass lapel badge was presented to members of the A.M.A. at their 1953 convention held in New York City, NY.
It weighs ½ oz/14.2 grams, is approximately 1½ “ wide x 1” and is in EXCELLENT condition.
It depicts the Statue of Liberty on the left, the Staff of Asclepius on the right and a skyline of tall buildings in the middle.
The initials AMA show above the skyline and below it reads “June 1 – 5, New York, 1953”.
The embossing on the pin is still sharp and pronounced.
The pin on the back is well attached and the manufacturer’s name, Acorn Badge Co. Chicago, is engraved there.
