Ertl 1995 'Wings of Texaco' die-cast 1931 Stearman Biplane coin bank Mint in box

Wow!  I could get into collecting airplane models if they were all as nice as this one.  I really like it.  : )  It is a 1931 Stearman Biplane & #3 in the 'Wings of Texaco' series.  I think the detailing is fantastic; it even extends to the underside of the plane.  The wingspan is 12" and from nose to tail it measures 8" (not including the rotating propeller).  It is also a bank but doesn't look like it would hold that many coins.  Cool for something like solid silver dimes perhaps.  It is in excellent condition and comes in its original box with original paperwork.  There is a little bit of wear to the box & someone wrote IV on one end of the box.  (I just noticed, while examining my photos, that someone also wrote IV on the plane)  You can see it on the tail in my 3rd picture.  It washed off easily and completely.  Please contact me with any other questions you may have prior to bidding.
