Howard Head the inventor of Head skis first made skis in the early 50's.  They were some of the first metal skis and took skiing by storm. The Head Standard and 360 were used by most Ski Patrollers, Ski Instructor's and ski racers in the 50's and 60's.
Today Us Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn, Ted Ligety and Julia Mancuso all ski on Head skis and are some of the best in the world along with their Snowboarders!
