Krytox(TM) 240 Series are synthetic fluorinated lubricants used in extreme conditions such as continuous high temperatures up to 300 Degrees C (572 Degrees F) and higher temperatures for shorter periods, depending on product grade limits. In the aerospace industry, it is used in various applications spanning from bearings and sealants to O-rings and oxygen systems. It is robust in harsh environments and has excellent frictional properties, allowing it to resist change in properties over time, provide longer wear, and lower energy consumption. Nonflammable.
