Live Daphnia magna=Water Fleas-live food*indoor container sustainable production

Description

For sale are multiple quantities of the largest daphnia- Daphnia magna.
I do sell them individually, since some customers like to raise them as pets.
(So yes, selecting a quantity of 1 means one single daphnia for all those curious!)
I will process your order as soon as possible and I will pick the right size of the daphnia for you (not too big nor too small).
For DOA (Dead On Arrived) case, I will try to ship again free of charge. If you request a refund, shipping fee will be deducted. No second time resend. If you do not accept my policy, please do not buy them.
About the Daphnia Magna:
They can reach a body size of more than 2 mm as shown in the first picture.
They can be unisex(
female only
) or bisex(
male or female
); it depends on the water condition. When they are unisex, they can reproduce by themselves and the eggs hatch almost immediately after birth.
My Discoveries:
I did some tests and put 10 daphnia each in a single compartment of a 10-compartment container. Over some time, I discovered that most of them had been doubled or tripled in quantity. I used only green water (unidentified microalgae) from my aquarium tanks as their food and never changed it.
Raising the Daphnia
You can grow algae to feed them by extracting a part of the water from the package, and placing it in a separate container. By exposing it to LED light, it will start to grow, and you can feed your Daphnia with the algae. You could also feed them yeast, but I recommend feeding them with algae as it is easy to grow.
