NEW ERTL B195 TEXACO 1934 DIAMOND T DOODLEBUG DIECAST TRUCK BANK
...From Ertl, this fine truck is a must-have for serious Texaco and truck bank collectors and was number 11 in Texaco's Collectors' Series. The scale isn't indicated, but I would guesstimate it to be around 1/34 or slightly smaller. The Texaco red paint job and streamlined design make this a standout piece and a fine addition to your collection and a piece I will genuinely miss. Note in the pictures the unique lever that drops the coins into the bank. I'll be listing more fine truck banks soon. Check them all out. Combined shipping is a great deal (see below).

"In 1934 Diamond T built a truck that was way ahead of its time. This replica 1934
Diamond T Tanker, commonly known as the Doodlebug, was representative of those used by Texaco jobbers and distributors to deliver quality, dependable Texaco products in the 1930's and 1940's. It carried 1500 gallons of
fuel, was 26' long, 92" wide, 79" tall, and distributed 555 of its load on the front and 45% on the rear, Texaco continues to offer both quality and dependability in the many products available to our loyal customers."
This item has never been displayed and was removed from the box only for initial inspection and now for photos.
In the original packaging, retaining its full value. Condition of packaging is as originally purchased, just slightly shopworn, but the box is intact and complete. Be assured that the model will be carefully packed, and
a slightly larger box would have
enough room to fit another.
Another fine item from my collection of quality die cast models...in original packaging, purchased but never displayed. I will miss these well-crafted pieces, but I have no room to display my large die cast collection, so most of it will be listed here in coming weeks.
