    This is an extremely rare 1922 AMA , AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION CONVENTION ,MEDAL, FEATURING,DOCTOR WILLIAM BEAUMONT, the Father of internal medicine. The Hospital and many other thinks are name after this pioneer of internal medicine. I know him from going to MACKINAW ISLAND IN THE MICHIGAN STRAITS, WHERE he doctored, and did his experiments on a trapper who blew a hole in his stomach and Doctor Beaumont could watch his digestion through the hole, his house is still there and you can tour it. The makers name and location is on the back, it is in minty condition ,with a strong pin to attack it to clothing.
