S.Kirk & Son Sterling Silver Tray Round Cocktail Tray Platter 432.5 Grams 1957

Description

S. Kirk & Son 4110 Sterling Silver 10" Round Platter/Tray 432.5 grams.  The cocktail tray is from an estate of an old Gloucester MA family. A family member told me it was presented to the groom along with crystal Martini Glasses.  It was engraved/purchased at Shreve Crump & Low of Boston ( a high end jeweler)  as a wedding gift to the groom whose name is abbreviated in the center with the wedding date of  September 7, 1957. The
groomsmen names are engraved surrounding the groom.
It has some fine scratches and a shallow ding on edge, but overall very nice heavy sterling tray.
