It is only there for identification purchase as the subjects name appears on that card. You are bidding on a real photographic sepia toned image printed on real photographic paper. The subject is Soscha the Strongman that appeared at the Dreamland Circus Sideshow in Coney Island Brooklyn New York City. He was also referred to as “The Wire Haired Gladiator. Heis pictured in his wild animal outfirTwith some sort of metal pinned to it on his left side. This is a real nice unusual view and if you research it you will find he is indeed Soscha The strongman. The image is not captioned. The name of the photographer is printed in the negative near the bottom white margin as being R. R. Borden –

. On the reverse side it also mentions Commercial Photographic Company. This firm was responsible for many different sideshow images. The card is post ally unused and having a divided back. The condition is good with some creasing along with some surface wear in the area right under his chin. Please se my pic.
