SpecCast Texaco Resin Attendant's Cap Collector Bank, circa 1998

This is a
SpecCast
resin collectible bank from 1998 featuring a
Texaco
's attendant's hat as a bank. The bank represents the cap worn by service station attendants back in the days when service was given at a service station. The cap is 5½" from front to back and 2½" at its highest point. Deep green in color, it has the
Texaco
emblem on the front of the hat and at each side of the black decorative ribbon area. It even has the ventilation holes on the sides. The slot for the coins is on the top of the cap and the rubber keeper is at the bottom. Was removed and replaced in its plastic bag (along with paper advertisement) to take pictures, and then put back in the box it came in. Was purchased new by an adult collector who had it inside his credenza in his office till his recent demise.
