Superb 1954 Gorham Sterling Silver Etruscan Large Serving Tray 9807
Presented is a fabulous Gorham sterling silver serving tray, dated 1954. The
tray is made in the elegant Etruscan pattern, featuring a Greek Key motif. The
tray is done in an oval form, in a good large size, suitable for use with a four
piece or larger tea set, or a variety of other serving purposes. We also have a
four piece tea set available, which you can find by searching 'Etruscan' in our
store.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark
for Gorham, as well as the date mark for 1954, the number 9807, and the name of
the pattern, Etruscan.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents,
no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The tray measures about 25 1/4 by 17 3/4 inches.
This piece weighs 3355 grams or 118.3 regular ounces.
