    ERTL 1919 GMC TEXACO TANKER TRUCK BANK K-16
    After dutifully providing 16,000 trucks and 2000 light ambulances for American military use in WW1, GMC unveiled its new post-war truck line in 1919. It centered on the "k" range, which included the one-ton K-16. The K-16 was powered by a 3.6-liter engine, and utilized a three-speed unit gearbox, bevel drive and pneumatic tires. Considered a light truck by GMC, the k-16  it was used by jobbers and distributors to deliver Texaco products in the late teens and 1920'S.  Opening bottom with key can retrieve coins saved.  Free rolling of wheels. Its a fine looking truck that one would be proud to display.
