Two Wood Hand Carved Alligator Crocodiles on wood

I am helping my Mom clean and wow!  I am finding some strange things
These are too cute if you can call them cute. They sit on wood carvings
I think the detail on the gaiters are really nice. Great condition
They measures Round one 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" 2 "  High
The one on the long log measures 5" Long by 2 " tall
