    Description

    Amazing post 1980's Chajul Huipil. This is a beautiful village is close to Quiche and its a Ixil speaking town with so many different motif style huipiles. This gorgeous huipil huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom standing up insted of kneeling down as traditional to other regions. It featuring a very intricate design of mayan motifs.
    This Huipil It's a work of art. Great for the any season coming. It will keep you cozy and stylish. Back-strap loomed one of a kind, it has same weaving on both sides. The embroidery Is lovely. It goes great with jeans, shorts, skirts.
    This piece alone is amazing, detail and crafted. Its an amazing vibrant colors. A great conversation piece. One of a kind made in Guatemala.
    NOTE: This is a vintage item, it has naturally and gentle use and wears. Huipil is in excellent conditions. Sold as is. Great for any used like decor on a wall, poncho, table cloth or pillow cover. Some loose thread but the embroidery is intact.
