Vintage Colorful Guatemalan Huipil Quetzaltenango XL

Description

This is a beautiful example from the Guatemalan town of Quetzaltenango. Historically each Guatemalan village has a design unique to that geographical location. This one is very typical of the town also known as “Xela.”
The garment is 32 inches wide, 32 inches long, with a sleeve diameter of 18 inches. It is queen size, XL or XL completely washable on cold on a delicate setting, turned inside out and then hung to dry. 100% cotton with maybe some rayon in the , “Randa” or seam decoration. It is in good condition with a bit of wear.
