Vintage Green, Wood, Military Storage Box. NOT a foot locker.....

Description

This is a used military storage box. I suspect it is a U.S.Army/Air Force container, circa 1943. It has been rougly handled, but the clasps and leather handle are prent and work fine. The interior no longer has any divider panels. I suspect that this box was used to deliver/transport large cirsuit breakers for radio installations.
Shipping will be challenging, so I recommend local pickup if possible, in or around Wayland MA.
The box is a little dirty and worn, but I think it is in excellent condition for its age.  Please see pictures. I will leave the cleaning for the new owner.
On the top and on one side, there is black printing stenciled on the box "CY-3 30A/APA-23.
