MEASURES 5/8" IN DIAMETER, TOTAL WEIGHT OF 2.9 GRAMS
Shows light wear, including minor surface marks, scratches, and it retains a light patina over the Sterling surface due to aging.  Top has nice shine and color to the enamel, it is very clean, straight, not bent, pin is tight and secure, has no monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all.
Top features the then seal of the hospital and reads HALIFAX DISTRICT HOSPITAL SERVICE TO 5 HUMANITY.  It is hallmarked on the back STERLING and J.O. POLLACK CO., historic and listed fraternal and school jewelry maker, from Chicago, IL.  This makers mark would date this pin to approximately the 1950s era.
This is a really nice, more unique piece for those that collect employee service award pins, jewelry by this maker, you previously or currently work for this hospital, or you collect local Florida history!  Wear it on a jacket to work or display it in a historical archive!
