Vintage Wooden Nickel Error Display Lot Miami Valley Ohio 1973 1974

Description

For your consideration is this Vintage Wooden Nickel Error Display Lot.
All of these Wooden Nickels are from the Semi-Annual Miami Valley Ohio Coin Shows and encompass the 14th through the 17th shows  through the years 1973 and 1974.
The "16th" Annual Nickel had a manufacturer error where they retained the marking "14th" Annual, but updated all of the other pertinent information.
Some of the Wooden Nickels were manually altered by the show promoters by writing over the errant "4" with a "6" in black ink, but due to volume, they just gave up and allowed the wrongly printed tokens.
This offering is for a display lot which clearly shows the error in sequence.

15th Semi-Annual (All Correct)
"14th" Semi-Annual (Unrepaired error of 16th Semi-Annual)
"16th" Semi-Annual (Vintage manual error repair to show "16th)
17th Semi-Annual (All Correct)
This is a unique lot of a little known error and is sure to be a highlight of any collection.
