Here we have a
Vintage HOUGHTON Pat. 1902, Veterinary Vaccinating Tool/Syringe marked "PARKE DAVIS & CO."
E. M. Houghton of Detroit, MI received Patent No. 715,661 on 12/9/1902 for Vaccinating-tool particularly designed for administering vaccine in solid form to horses and cows.  It appears that Houghton must have assigned the patent to Parke Davis for them to manufacture this tool / syringe.  The barrel of the syringe is marked with their name and the patent info. The syringe is in very good condition wit

good nickel-plat
ed
finish.
A copy of the patent diagram will be included. Syringe length is approx. 7".
