    Description

This is an hour-long PBS documentary entitled "Seances & Slot Machines: The Story of Brady Lake Park."  It tells the story of Brady Lake Amusement Park in Brady Lake, Ohio, from its founding in 1891 to its abrupt closing in 1949.  Along the way, it was owned by wheeler-dealers, Spiritualists, and the Cleveland mob, who turned it into a lucrative gambling spot with hundreds of illegal slot machines.  From rustic resort to gambling emporium.  It's an interesting story that originally aired in 2014 on Western Reserve PBS in Ohio.  This auction is for a new widescreen DVD in a clear jewel case.  A portion of all sales goes to the Kent, Ohio Historical Society and/or the Portage County, Ohio Historical Society.
